While traveling, take time not only to see the major sights, but intentionally grab a moment to observe the birds, animals, and flora of a given area. Here is a photo I shot of a Cedar Waxwing enjoying the berries of a bush while my husband and I were taking a break from driving through Idaho on a road trip.
“My point is, life is about balance. The good and the bad. The highs and the lows. The pina and the colada.”
~Ellen DeGeneres, Seriously…I’m Kidding

“If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there’d be a shortage of fishing poles.”
~Doug Larson, (1926- ) American Journalist
I took this shot on a gorgeous fall day while traveling out west. I was walking and felt rather envious when I noticed the men out fishing on the river. We must never get so busy that we fail to take note of the beautiful world which surrounds us!
